Sarah Kramer
 | Sarah Kramer is the Director of Civic Affairs for Tyco Healthcare, which, in the summer of 2007, will formally emerge as a $10B publicly-traded healthcare company, headquartered out of Mansfield, Mass. For the past few years, Sarah served as the Manager of Community Affairs for St. Louis-based Mallinckrodt, which is a business unit of Tyco Healthcare. In her position, she allocated the company’s Community Partnership Program funds to local non-profits and institutions, placed employees on Boards, incepted an employee giving committee, served as consult to the Diversity Council, and introduced a variety of internal programs to engage employees and senior leadership in community outreach activities, including “Casual for a Cause” and “Denim for Diversity Days,” helping to raise more than $1M in employee donations in just two years.
Sarah’s history includes work in the magazine publishing, telecommunications, software and healthcare industries, in cities such as Chicago, Des Moines, New York, Cologne, Germany, St. Louis, and now, Mansfield. While she has moved with her career, her heart belongs to the community of St. Louis, where even though she is not a “native,” she considers it her home. Personally, she is involved in more than a dozen St. Louis non-profit committees, and she looks forward to assisting NCCJSTL with its venture into ensuring fair and equitable distribution of healthcare to all individuals. Sarah is a Summa Cum Laude Masters Graduate of Drake University. While she looks forward to her St. Louis homecoming, she invites all community friends to visit her in her current residence of Providence, RI, where she lives, hikes, eats, sleeps and donates with her dog, Flash.
