America's Advantage

AA 200: America's Advantage 200 The intention of the America's Advantage: Diversity and Inclusion at Work program is to target the leadership within corporate or civic work environments to empower them to create institutional change that fosters inclusion for all people within their own organization.  Leadership here has been defined as any employee who has a direct impact upon the human relations climate of a workplace.  The program involves participants from across the organization (senior and mid-level management and "front line" staff) participating in small group activities (experiential and dialogic exercises) in order to raise their level of awareness and to develop the skills necessary to address current and future issues relevant to promoting inclusion in their workplace.

  • Social identity
  • Dynamics of power and privilege relative to bias, bigotry, prejudice, and discrimination
  • Responsible leadership
  • Assessment and strategic planning for inclusion in the workplace
  • Cultural diversity competency  skills
