Racial Equity Collaborative (REC)

The Racial Equity Collaborative (REC) has formed to guide the community in understanding, articulating, and implementing a shared, action-oriented, racial equity agenda that empowers individuals and organizations to eliminate structural racism and the resulting inequities in the areas of housing, education, and economics.  The partners include the Anti-Defamation League, Aspen Institute Roundtable for Comprehensive Community Initiatives for Children and Families, FOCUS St. Louis, RegionWise, and The National Conference for Community and Justice (NCCJ).  A regional agenda to address structural racism in education has been drafted for community assessment.
