Making a Donation to NCCJSTL The National Conference for Community and Justice of Metropolitan St. Louis (NCCJSTL) is a nonprofit corporation exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS. Click on events above for more information. Volunteer Services and Internships NCCJSTL values the ongoing services of dedicated volunteers and interns in our community. These committed individuals help us deliver programs, assist with logistics at our events (see NCCJSTL Calendar of Events), provide administrative support in our offices, and assist our staff in a myriad of other ways each year. The majority of our volunteer needs are short term and event based. Interns can work in our office when supervision is available and the intern's academic needs are satisfied through a mutually productive relationship. NCCJSTL's Brotherhood Sisterhood Awards Dinner takes place each Spring in late May or early June. Leading up to this event we need volunteer assistance with event organizing. On the evening of the dinner, we rely on volunteers for a smooth registration process. The Walk as One Walk-a-thon takes place in the fall. There are long term volunteer opportunities on the Walk As One committee as well as short term opportunities on the day of the event in registration and other logistical areas. We always welcome volunteers interested in joining us to make a difference in their community and help to eliminate racism, bias and bigotry.
