Walk As One is an eight-year-old event that brings diverse people together to take a stand against all forms of oppression, to foster intergroup relations and to break down social and economic barriers. Walk As One is a public event that emphasizes the importance of bringing people together across lines of difference. Through this event individuals, companies, and organizations support programming that promotes respect and understanding among all races, religions, and cultures. NCCJSTL's Walk As One Walkathon is unique! It raises funds for youth and community leadership programs that benefit the St. Louis region. It's easy and it's fun! Each walker is encouraged to raise $75 or more by asking their friends, co-workers, family members and others to sponsor them. Please contact NCCJSTL for fun and successful fundraising tips! | By raising funds for the Walk, participants ensure that NCCJSTL's important programmatic initiatives will be available. From year to year, funds raised help to introduce and expand NCCJSTL programs to reach more people in new and more comprehensive ways. Come hungry! After the walk, we'll Eat As One. NCCJSTL will have food available! Join us for a gathering of people who want to make our community more inclusive! |
